What is Aimhigher Southwest?
This Landbased Education website is online as part of "Aimhigher in the Southwest". This is a programme of activities to raise awareness,
aspirations, and achievement so that more young people (who have the
potential to benefit) from under-represented social groups can progress
to Higher Education. These activities in the Southwest are co-ordinated
at a regional level through one overarching partnership. This ensures
that staff working in widening participation across the region can learn
from each other so that the partners can provide a high quality programme
of activities.
Area Partnerships
There are three local area partnerships that deliver activities in
the South West. These are:
Aimhigher LIFE (Learning Is For Everyone)
The area partnership in Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole, South Somerset

Aimhigher Peninsula
The area partnership in Cornwall, Devon and West Somerset.
Aimhigher West
The area partnership in Gloucestershire, the West of England, Swindon
and Wiltshire and North Somerset.
