SSAT Admissions to Higher Education: Advisers’ Directory

Admissions to Higher Education: Advisers’ Directory (AHEAD) is primarily aimed at staff in schools but is equally useful for any practitioner tasked with providing HE-related advice and guidance to young people. AHEAD is a support resource designed to ensure that advisers have access to information on the very latest changes and developments in HE admissions and applications processes. AHEAD is intended to ‘advise the advisers’ and support anyone answering even occasional HE-related questions.  The directory is a user-friendly guide that has been authored by experts including carefully selected and fully qualified HE advisers, each armed with a wealth of practical experience in delivering guidance and advice as well as training others to do so. The aim of the site is to act as a gateway to the vast range of information that is available on various websites and to direct people to the most useful for their needs. There is also a section which acts as a resource for training providers who might be wishing to advise apprentices on next steps.
