Partners
All members of the Aimhigher West Partnership. Partners (Coordination): 6 LEA sub-areas (B&NES, Glos, Somerset, South Glos, Swindon, Wilts), target schools, all 12 partner FE Colleges in those areas.
Task A: Outline
Partnership Management
• Maintaining coordinated Area structure on which to plan, deliver, develop and evaluate the programme, convening meetings of the Area Steering Group, Area Forum, Finance Committee, Operational Group and ad hoc groups as appropriate.
• Organising payment to partners of area funds and coordinating reporting arrangements for funding periods.
• Maintaining strategic area overview of evaluation of activities.
• Implementing the Partnership communications strategy, providing a central point for communications both within the Partnership and to external organisations, including the development and maintenance of Area website.
• Maintaining overview of, and facilitating arrangements for, sub-area, school, and FE Aimhigher coordination and planning.
Task A: Target Groups
This work underpins the strategic and operational delivery of the Aimhigher West Programme.
Task B: Outline
Sub-Area, School and FE Coordination
• Planning and coordination of Aimhigher activities in liaison with other Strands.
• Identifying target groups and needs within sub-areas to assist planning and delivery of Aimhigher activities.
• Providing information for monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
• Providing contact point for dissemination of information to target groups and local networks about Aimhigher activities.
